"Hello. I experienced a house fire in 2016. I lost about 2/3 rds of my home to mostly black smut and water damage. The fire was mostly in the attic and on the roof. Fortunately, I did have insurance. My insurance paid off in a very timely manner. However, like most insurance claims, they failed to pay a fair amount. I went to House of Carpet for my flooring. I had to replace my carpet throughout the home, as well as, my flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms. I chose a beautiful gray blend carpet and vinyl flooring for the kitchen and both bathrooms. Since I had the money, I paid for the flooring in advance. The owner gave me an incredible deal. The best part was he stills honors my contract to this date. I have only had 2 rooms so far carpeted. Long story, but the owner is one honorable businessman. I ended up having to dismiss my contractor before the work was complete. 3.5 years later, I still have not completed all my interior work."
